The Toyota Venza might have made its debut only four years ago, but that isn't stopping Toyota from giving it some major updates for the 2013 model year. The 2013 model Venza was on display at the New York Auto Show recently, and it appears more stylish than ever before!  It also features several new packages and options, as well as elevated standard features.

Toyota Returns to WRC with Modified Yaris

We were disappointed when Japanese automaker Toyota say goodbye to the World Rally Championship (WRC) a few years ago, but now we're excited the Japanese automaker has plans return to the race. It even has plans to bring the lightweight Toyota Yaris along for the ride.

Are you interested in leasing a new Toyota, but you're worried about the additional fees you might have to pay upon its return to the dealership? Worry no more, reader. Toyota has crafted a new Toyota Excess Wear & Use Protection Plan. This EWU plan waives excess wear and use charges that the lessee would normally have to pay at the end of his/her lease term, and it's very comprehensive. The policy goes beyond normal wear and tear and covers such items as: damage to tires, hubcaps, or rims, interior stains, burns or cuts, damaged bumpers, dings or scratches, body dents, missing parts or equipment, and scratched or broken windows, mirrors, lights, or windshield.

Tim Tebow Press Conference Showcases Toyota Logo

He's one of the most influential and sought-after players in the NFL today, and he recently made a big move from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets. Who is he? Tim Tebow, of course. The quarterback may represent a lot of things to a different people, but yesterday, he represented Toyota, whether he planned to or not.

While many of us are concerned about our impact on the environment (or "carbon footprint" as it's sometimes called), we also have issues paying top-dollar for hybrid or electric vehicle models. For us, there's great news from Toyota. The smaller, cheaper Prius c will make its debut this month- making hybrid technology available to the masses. The new subcompact has a low starting MSRP around $19k. A grad "Three" variant (featuring a better audio system and a navigation system) is available for only $21,635, and a grade "Four" (the highest trim, featuring alloy wheels and heated seats) is available for only $3,230. The standard 2012 Prius has a starting price between $24k-30k.

Toyota Continues to Tease FT-Bh Concept

The Toyota FT-Bh concept won't be officially unveiled until the 2012 Geneva Auto Show in March, but that isn't stopping the Japanese automaker from teasing the revolutionary new hybrid. Toyota has always led the auto industry in terms of hybrid models, and the new FT-Bh will assure that this trend will continue.Toyota has been very sly about this new concept car, only releasing photo "snippets" of small parts of the vehicle.

Everyone loves the 2012 Toyota Prius family, and we mean everyone. So much, in fact, that the new 2012 Prius v outsold the Chevy Volt in its first ten weeks on the market.  The Prius v premiered in late October 2011 and managed to rack up sales numbers of 8,399 delivered units within six weeks, while the Volt only managed numbers of 7,671 units in the same time span.

Toyota Provides Warm Winter Boots to Detroit Residents

Japanese automaker Toyota has an impressive lineup of 2012 Toyota models this year, but it doesn't skimp on giving back to the community, either. Toyota USA recently joined forced with the Denby, MI branch of the Salvation Army to donate winter boots to over 150 women and children in the Detroit area as part of its Walk in My Boots community project.

Are you a lover of the environment that's been wondering what the best "green" vehicle is? According to GreenCarReports.com, one vehicle doesn't hold the title; the whole Toyota Prius Family does. Impressive isn't it? The judges couldn't decide between which of the four current Prius models was the most impressive, so they choose all of them. Along with the fourth generation standard Toyota Prius, the Toyota Prius v, the Toyota Prius Plug-In, and the Toyota Prius C were included in the award. What makes this award even more amazing is that the latter two models won't be released until this spring!

Toyota Undertakes New Projects Focusing on Safety

Earlier this month, Toyota announced that its Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) would be launching four new research project focused on producing more efficient safety tactics and technologies across the entire automotive industry. The CSRC was originally launched in January 2011 with a starting investment of $50 million by the company. The technologies developed are used by Toyota and shared with a variety of different companies and institutions.</
